Policies

When you are ready to set up service, you can call our office at

(615) 331-3399, or complete our New Client Information Sheet online.

We will also email you paperwork for your doggie file as well as a Welcome Packet. You can expect a call from your doggie walker to schedule your registration meeting prior to your first doggie walk.

In Home Consultation

Playful Paws Pet Care Service requires an In Home Consultation before scheduling pet services. This allows us to get to know you and your pet(s), as well as discuss detailed instruction for care of your pet(s) and home while you are away. Things you should have ready or be prepared for during this visit are:

For Home Service:

Medications for your pet
Favorite toys and exercise routine
Keys/Security codes for Paws Specialist access to house

Playful Paws Adventures Late Pick Up

If you are delayed in picking up your canine companion from Playful Paws Adventures by 6:00pm, Playful Paws Pet Care Service will charge $15.00 per half hour until 7:00pm. After such time your Paws Specialist will then keep your canine companion for the evening thus charging a Playful Paws Sleepover rate.

Key Pick Up or Drop Off:

If keys are not collected at the time of the In Home Consultation or not left at your house during the last visit, there will be a $10 charge to pickup or drop off your keys. We will not leave key "under the mat", or the like, due to security issues for your home. In addition we will not lock keys in the house after the last visit, as we must be able to access your home in case you are delayed on your arrival home and your pet(s) require additional visits. Upon receipt of final payment, keys will be returned or we can keep your keys at our secure location for future Playful Paws Pet Care Service.

Payment:

We require a 50% deposit to hold your reservation for At Home Paws Sitting or Playful Paws Sleepovers. For all other services payment will be rendered upon completion of service. You will receive an invoice through email. All payments must be made in full at the commencement of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

Returned Check Fee:

$25 for each check

Cancellation Policy:

If your visit is canceled more than one week before the appointment the deposit will be returned in full. If your visits is canceled less than one week before the appointment the deposit cannot be returned, but can be applied towards future Playful Paws Pet Care Services.

Holidays:

We do not charge extra for Holidays.

Household/Pet Supplies

We prefer our clients leave enough pet supplies (i.e. food, litter, treats), however, we don't mind running to the store if you do not mind the additional charge for cost, time and mileage. If you change the location of supplies inform the Paws Specialist. Supplies should always be easily accessible.

Emergency Contact

It is absolutely required that you give your Paws Specialist all the necessary contact information at the time of your in home consultation or when calling to reserve your services. If information is not given and we have to order the service of a locksmith, you will be responsible for the entire bill.

Returning Home Late/Early

Please call your Paws Specialist first thing when you arrive home. If you are delayed in returning home, Playful Paws Pet Care Service will automatically continue making visits until we hear from you. This is an additional reason why it is very important to call your Paws Specialist the minute you arrive home. If you do not let Playful Paws Pet Care Service know of your arrival, and we make an unnecessary visit, you will be billed for the visit.

Medical Policies:

These policies are in effect for the health, safety and well being of your pet(s). All dogs and cats must be up to date on their vaccinations and rabies shots. We do not provide the care for pet requiring injections. Pets requiring external and/or oral medications are acceptable.

Discounts:

10% discount to senior citizens (60 yrs & above)
10% discount to fire/police
10% discount to teachers

Be sure to tell your referral to mention your name or tell us you are a senior citizen, fire/police, or a teacher so we can credit your account with your discount
